Description:

The GREENSORT Pre shredder features a low-speed high-torque hydraulic dual-axis pre-shearing machine. It is special focus on heavy metal scrap processing or AUTO body shredding, The high torque and Hard alloy cutter bring in high efficiency when it be used in pre-treatment of scrap metal. Our hydraulic pre shredder has been used in many ASR plant, like in Australia.

The Pre shredder is composed of seven core modules: the feed assembly, the shearing main chamber, the dual-axis shear rotor, the hydraulic drive transmission system, the hydraulic power station container, the intelligent electronic control system, and the frame base.

All are designed with Hardox wear-resistant steel plates for heavy-duty use, suitable for pre-crushing of various materials such as complete vehicles, steel bundles, aluminum profiles, scrap steel bundles, and tires.

1. Feed Assembly (Upper Feeding Mechanism)

1) Flip Plate Feeding Hopper

The main body is welded as a whole with thick steel plates. The feed volume is standard 7m³, with an extremely large opening of 4300×2450mm. It can directly receive complete vehicles and steel bundles from the steel loader.

Two hydraulic flip-down protective plates on both sides, which can be fully opened during maintenance to completely clear the stuck materials in the chamber; the inner wall is fully covered with Hardox 400 wear-resistant armor plates, which can be disassembled and replaced to resist the impact of large pieces of scrap steel.

2) Guide Material Buffer Plate

The bottom of the hopper has an inclined buffer structure, allowing the materials to fall smoothly into the dual-axis interlocking zone, preventing high-speed splashing and reducing impact noise; an anti-jump retaining beam is built-in to avoid thin metal sheets from bouncing out.

2. Shearing Main Chamber (Core of the Shearing Chamber)

1) An overall welded heavy-duty box body

The high-strength thick steel plates are cast and welded as a whole, with the inner cavity dimensions of the shearing chamber being 2180×1750mm, and the total weight of the machine chamber being 42 tons; the wear-resistant armor plates on all four sides can be disassembled and replaced separately, without the need to disassemble the entire machine.

2) Side impact side ribs

The outer side of the chamber is densely covered with box-type reinforcing ribs, capable of withstanding the extremely large instantaneous reverse torque during shearing, preventing the box from deforming and cracking.

3) Bottom discharge port

An open rectangular discharge channel at the bottom, allowing the sheared materials to directly fall onto the belt conveyor; the bottom is also covered with wear-resistant steel plates to reduce metal friction loss.

4) Extruded external module structure for bearing seats

Independent heavy-duty bearing seats on both ends, completely external to the shearing chamber, isolating dust and iron filings from entering the bearings; the bearing seats as a whole can be lifted and disassembled, facilitating the extraction and maintenance of the rotor as a whole.

3. Core Shearing Rotor System (Dual-axis Blade Assembly)

The machine is equipped with two opposite-reversing solid forged main shafts, with a single shaft carrying a total weight of 7.6 tons for the core shearing.

1) Main Shaft Body

Special quenched alloy steel is forged as a whole, with high resistance to bending and torsion, capable of withstanding extreme overload shear force; standardized installation positioning slots are reserved on the shaft body, ensuring no loosening or displacement of the blades.

2) Shearing Blade Assembly (Zero-Gap Cutting Design)

Material: High-carbon high-chromium heat-treated wear-resistant tool steel, available in four blade widths of 150/180/200/300mm; standard 60 blades of 180mm each;

3) Structure: Interlaced cutting type, with the dual-axis blades interlocking in zero-gap shear, purely shear rather than impact crushing, with extremely low dust and noise;

4) Fixation: Wedge-shaped locking mechanism, preventing blade loosening under heavy load, blocked rotation, and reverse conditions; each blade can be independently disassembled without disassembling the entire shaft;

Optional: Customized irregularly shaped gripping teeth for aluminum, complete vehicles, and heavy scrap steel to prevent thin materials from slipping.

5) Sealing Components, Spacer Rings, and Positioning Rings

Thick wear-resistant spacers are added between the blades to control the cutting gap; multiple skeleton oil seals and dust-proof labyrinth seals at the shaft ends prevent cutting metal debris from entering the bearings.

4. Hydraulic Drive and Planetary Transmission System

Two hydraulic motors and two planetary gearboxes are used for each shaft, with 4 motors and 4 planetary reducers symmetrically arranged on the machine, with independent drive on both sides, balanced torque distribution.

Low-speed high-torque radial piston hydraulic motors

Directly connected to the planetary gearboxes, providing an extremely large shear torque; PLC automatic speed regulation: no-load 6rpm, automatically reduces to 3rpm when encountering hard materials, with torque increased multiple times.

Features:

1. Reducer: adopts planetary reducer, coupling installation, with small size, compact structure, large output torque, smooth operation, etc., reducer mounting seat and box are processed as a whole to ensure easy installation;

2. shredding box: the box is machined and boring as a whole by a high-precision CNC machining center to ensure that the equipment can run smoothly for a long time with heavy load, and extend the service life of the transmission components. The front and rear bearing seats are integrated to ensure the coaxial degree of the bearing holes at both ends. Open and close design, convenient for the complete spindle disassembly;

3. Multiple sealing inside bearing seat, waterproof and dustproof. The  bearing seat is equipped with a wear-resistant baffle plate to prevent the material from contacting the bearing seat directly;

4. The blade adopts unique patent design, fully detachable tool design, easy to quickly replace and maintain the tool, reduce the production cost;

The machine is controlled by Siemens PLC through automatic detection, alarm and overload protection functions, which can automatically adjust and control the feed amount. When the motor pressure exceeds the set rated pressure, the automatic reversal is reversed, and then the automatic  forward rotation enters the normal crushing action.
