Metal Sensor Sorter Description:

GREENSORT metal sensor sorter automatically identifies and separates metals(main stainless steel)from mixed materials via high-precision array metal sensors and pneumatic ejection system.

Materials are evenly spread by the feeding unit and conveyed onto the belt. The sensor array scans moving materials in real time, distinguishes iron, copper, aluminium, stainless steel and other metals. The control system calculates the position and speed of metallic materials, and triggers targeted pneumatic nozzles to blow out target metals at accurate timing, realizing continuous automatic separation of metals and non-metals.

Working principle:

After the materials are evenly spread by the front-end spreading device and smoothly transported to the detection area, the high-precision metal sensor array inside the equipment continuously scans the flowing materials on the belt:

The sensors capture the metal signals of the materials, distinguishing different metal materials such as iron, aluminum, copper, zinc, stainless steel, etc.;

The control system performs real-time calculation to determine the coordinates and movement speed of the metal materials;

At the moment the materials reach the sorting point, the corresponding pneumatic nozzle is precisely triggered, using high-pressure air to blow out the target metal materials, achieving the separation of metal and non-metal materials and completing the automated sorting.

Feed Distribution Unit

Equipped with a vibrating distribution device to disperse agglomerated materials, control the single-layer flat transportation of materials, prevent material stacking from blocking, ensure detection and recognition accuracy, and be compatible with continuous production lines for material feeding.

Pneumatic Conveyor System

Stable material transportation using wear-resistant industrial flat belts, running at a constant speed, ensuring a constant speed of materials passing through the detection area, providing a foundation for precise sequential spraying; the entire machine has a modular structure, facilitating integration into production line layouts.

High-Precision Metal Sensing Detection Module

The core identification unit of the equipment, using multi-channel array-type metal sensing probes, covering a large area for detection, with fast recognition response; capable of distinguishing ferrous black metals from non-ferrous metal, supporting fine-tuning of recognition sensitivity, suitable for mixed materials of large and small particle sizes.

Intelligent Pneumatic Spraying Actuator

Array of independent controllable nozzles, each nozzle driven independently; the system precisely matches the spraying timing according to the sensor position signal, blowing off the target materials, reducing misting and material leakage, improving sorting purity.

Intelligent Electrical Control System

Integrated with industrial control motherboard, signal acquisition module, and human-machine interface; supports parameter storage, sensitivity adjustment, and self-diagnosis of faults; can be connected to the upper production line control system to achieve coordinated operation of the entire recycling sorting production line.
