Description:

GREENSORT heavy-duty double-shaft shredders serve as the primary coarse shredding hub for scrap aluminum and mixed metal recycling workflows. Featuring dual independent high-torque drives, reinforced cutting chamber and a spacious elevated base frame, this low-speed shear shredder effortlessly breaks bulky aluminum extrusions, window frames, UBC bales and ferrous-mixed metal scrap for downstream sorting and smelting.

Applications:

Scrap aluminum windows & extrusions, compressed aluminum can bales, aluminum castings, AC aluminum tubes, thin steel sheets, metal drums, motorcycle frames, composite scrap blended with plastic, rubber and iron fasteners.

Equipment Structure:

1) Wide Anti-Bridging Feed Hopper.

Large-volume hopper prevents material stacking.

2) Heavy Reinforced Cutting Chamber.

Thick welded steel housing with reinforcing ribs withstands impact from scrap mixed with steel screws and iron fittings. Reversible alloy cutter discs cut maintenance costs.

3) Symmetric Dual Independent Drive Units. Separate motor-planetary reducer sets power each shaft, delivering stable giant shear torque without stalling during heavy-duty shredding.

4) Elevated Heavy Steel Support Frame.

High clearance under the machine directly fits discharge conveyors and magnetic separators, perfect for automated recycling lines, with built-in vibration reduction for quieter running.
