Equipment Introduction

Description:
Greensort hammer mill is a medium and fine shredding device powered by impact force. Driven by an electric motor, the rotor fitted with multiple high-strength alloy hammers spins at high velocity within the crushing chamber. After raw materials enter the mill, they are continuously struck, sheared and pulverized by rotating hammers, and collide with wear-resistant cavity liners to be broken into small pieces.
Material fragments that meet the required size pass through gaps of the bottom screen and get discharged, while oversized chunks remain in the cavity for repeated hammer impacts until reaching standard granularity.

This equipment features a simple mechanical structure, low upfront cost, large crushing ratio and straightforward maintenance. The Special design:
The main body of the shredder is composed of an alloy steel welded frame, high manganese wear-resistant thickened lining plates, main shaft rotor assembly, top discharge door, bottom discharge grid, composite shock-absorbing pad, main motor and the connection of the main shaft. It is the core part of the scrap steel crushing line.

1)Shredder main body: The frame is divided into upper and lower bodies and is equipped with a flipping cylinder. When replacing the crushing hammer and wear-resistant lining plates, the upper body can be flipped. On the other side of the main motor of the shredder, there is a pull-out machine specifically used for extracting the pin shaft when replacing the hammer head. The internal body is equipped with wear-resistant thickened high manganese lining plates and thick pad. They can be replaced when worn.

2)Main shaft rotor assembly: The main shaft rotor is specially customized. The hammer plate, shaft, spacer ring, and hammer head pin shaft of the main shaft are made of alloy materials. The number of shredder hammers is determined according to the material conditions and may be 10-12; the main shaft bearings use high-temperature-resistant bearings, which can withstand a temperature of 150℃. Considering the variable load borne by the main shaft and the equipment usage conditions, the bearings adopt independent cooling, which is more effective. The temperature measurement sensors on the bearing seat monitor, alarm and automatically cool the bearings. The shredder hammers on the main shaft are arranged in a wedge-shaped pattern, which enables 100% crushing of scrap steel in the opening direction, resulting in higher production efficiency.

3)Main motor and connection of the main shaft: The main motor is an armature-wound three-phase asynchronous motor. The motor bearings are equipped with temperature measurement elements, and the motor is equipped with a dehumidification and dehumidification device. It uses an international brand, with a warranty period of two years, and has an IP55 protection level.

4)The main motor is connected to the crusher through a bevel coupling, universal coupling, transition coupling shaft and the main shaft. If large and difficult-to-crush scrap steel enters the crusher, in addition to protection by the electrical control system, the transition coupling shaft can respond quickly, thereby protecting the main motor and the main shaft of the crusher from damage, minimizing equipment losses. The flexible and extendable universal coupling reduces the construction requirements for the equipment foundation.
