Flip Flow Description:

Flip-Flow Screen is a high-efficiency anti-blinding screening machine developed by GREENSORT for moist and sticky materials. The screen surface performs alternating tension and relaxation movement, making polyurethane screen mats deform at high frequency to fundamentally solve screen blinding caused by wet sticky fine materials.

Applications:

It is widely used in metal recycling, construction waste recycling, municipal solid waste, aged landfill waste, coal gangue, smelting slag, tailings and other solid waste processing lines. Normally installed after trommel screen for fine material classification.

The machine consists of heavy-duty fixed frame, floating screen frame, modular elastic polyurethane screen mats, multiple sets of eccentric vibration exciters, composite damping springs, optional dust-tight enclosure and maintenance platform.

Structural Features:

1. Flip-flow floating screen surface The equipment adopts dual-frame system: fixed frame and floating frame. GREENSORT synchronized eccentric drive unit drives two frames to reciprocate oppositely. The polyurethane screen mats clamped between frames stretch and relax continuously to generate high-frequency bouncing. Continuous self-cleaning performance makes it ideal for sticky, muddy and wet materials.

2. Customizable multi-deck screen system Single-layer, double-layer or triple-layer screen decks are available to realize multi-grade classification in one pass. GREENSORT wear-resistant modular polyurethane screen mats are easy to install and replace. Aperture sizes can be customized according to material properties.

3. Multiple independent synchronized exciters Several synchronized exciters are mounted on the top to deliver evenly distributed and stable excitation force, ensuring uniform screening across wide screen decks. Modular independent drive units simplify inspection and maintenance, suitable for wide-size high-capacity industrial models.

4. Heavy steel frame & high-efficiency damping system The main frame is welded with thick steel plates for outstanding rigidity and impact resistance. Large composite damping springs greatly reduce vibration transmission to the workshop foundation, lower operation noise and avoid building resonance, reducing infrastructure investment.

5. Optional fully enclosed dust housing GREENSORT fully enclosed dust cover is optional, equipped with standard dust extraction connections to control dust emission and comply with environmental protection regulations.

Working Principle:

The motor drives eccentric exciters to produce relative opposite movement between fixed frame and floating frame. The polyurethane screen mats are repeatedly stretched and relaxed, creating high-frequency micro bouncing on the screen deck. Materials are conveyed forward under continuous disturbance, preventing sticky wet material from clogging screen holes. Particles smaller than the aperture pass through the screen, while oversize materials flow to the discharge outlet to achieve precise classification.

Technical Specification:

Features:

Excellent anti-blinding performance:

Preferred solution for moist, muddy and sticky materials, far higher screening efficiency than conventional linear vibrating screens. Extended service life: GREENSORT customized polyurethane screen mats feature excellent elasticity and impact resistance, lower wear rate than metal screens and controllable spare part cost.

Large continuous throughput:

Wide-size models are available for 24-hour high-volume feeding in solid waste recycling plants.

Low vibration impact:

Advanced damping system transmits less vibration to the foundation, lowering requirements for workshop civil construction.

Flexible classification to boost downstream sorting:

Multi-deck design produces multiple size fractions, supplying uniformly sized feed for magnetic separators, air separators, eddy current separators and XRT sorters, and improving overall metal recovery rate.

Typical Position in Metal Recycling Line:

Raw Material → Shredding Section → GREENSORT Trommel Screen → GREENSORT Flip-Flow Screen → Fine Sorting (Magnetic Separation / Air Separation / Eddy Current Separation / XRT Sorting) GREENSORT trommel screen firstly removes bulky debris and coarse soil. The flip-flow screen further classifies mixed materials into different particle size ranges, ensuring downstream sorting equipment operates under optimal conditions and maximizes metal recycling benefits.
